With an average rate of $145 per night, the state capital of Tallahassee came out as one of the least expensive destinations. Cheapest overall were Panama City Beach and around Disney World in Kissimmee, where you can find a room for around $100 per night.

About the Methodology
The survey was conducted at the end of January 2023 using hotel comparison website Kayak. For 30 popular destinations in Florida, the average price for the cheapest available double room in a hotel or inn was established for the months of February and March. Only hotels located close to the beach, or in the city center/downtown were considered for the survey. Moreover, only hotels rated at least 3 stars and with positive average customer reviews (at least "good" on Kayak) were also considered. Please note some popular destinations in Northern Florida (e.g. Pensacola Beach and Miramar Beach) reach their peak season during the summer months.
