About the Methodology
The survey recorded hotel rates in 100 cities worldwide, including 25 cities in the USA and Canada, and 10 cities in the UK and Ireland. For each destination, the average price for the cheapest available double room was established for the period October 1–31, 2025. Rates were recorded in late September using leading hotel booking websites. Only centrally located hotels (downtown or very close to the city center) and hotels rated at least 3 stars were considered. For most cities in Asia, South Africa, and Africa, a minimum rating of 4 stars was required.Press Contact
