Official airport parking is an expensive necessity for many, but there is a cheaper way of leaving your car somewhere secure and that’s at an off-site facility – of which La Guardia Airport has several.

Located in East Elmhurst, Queens, La Guardia Airport is the third-busiest airport in the New York metropolitan area. The daily rates for official airport parking can be as much as $89 per day, and long-term parking rates start at around $240 per week. However, by parking at an off-airport facility you’re often able to save up to 60% on official airport rates. Laguardia Parking LGA Airport
Located just over half-a-mile from the airport, this parking facility offers uncovered self-parking for rates starting at $6.95 per day. Open from 4am to 10pm daily, the car park also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport that runs every 30 minutes between the hours of 6am and 8pm. There’s also 24-hour security and camera surveillance. You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before the check-in time and still receive a full refund.
Marriott La Guardia Airport
Almost as close to the airport as our first recommendation is this parking lot located on the site of a Marriot Hotel. Here, drivers can purchase uncovered self-parking deals for rates of $28.25 per day. The facility is open 24/7 and offers a complimentary daily airport shuttle service from 4am to 1am, running every 30-40 minutes. As with our first tip, you have up until your reservation starts to cancel your parking.
Hotel Indigo Flushing
If you’d like the peace of mind of keeping your car somewhere covered, and the convenience of leaving it with a valet service, then this facility could be for you. Positioned 2.5 miles from the airport, it offers covered valet parking for rates starting at $14.70 per day. There’s also a free shuttle service that makes the 5-minute run to and from the airport every 30-60 minutes. The shuttle is in service daily between 4am and 11pm. Finally, once again, you can cancel your parking reservation up to the minute it begins and still get all your money back.
